Device (1) for generating a shock wave by detonation, comprising an assembly (2), a remote control (3), and a radio communication system (4). The assembly (2) comprises a detonation tube (5), a first closable pipe (6) for supplying an oxidant and a second closable pipe (8) for supplying the detonation tube (5) with fuel, an electrical energy storage unit (11) and a control unit (12), the detonation tube (5) having an outlet mouth (14). The assembly (2), which can be coupled to an aircraft support (23), comprises a system (16) for closing the outlet mouth (14) of the tube (5) in a sealed manner, to enable the tube (5) to be pre-filled with oxidant. This closure system (16) is sensitive to pressure. The control unit (12) is configured to control the opening of the second pipe (8) and the assembly (2) comprises, in order to open the closure system (1), a main control (17) and an auxiliary control (18), referred to as a backup control, comprising a tank (19) of pressurized gas.
