The invention relates to a method (100) for correcting the thrust vector created by a thrust assembly associated with electrical means for correcting said thrust vector. Such a thrust assembly comprises a mechanical rotor rotated by a rotary shaft of an internal combustion engine (12a-e) in response to a power command (PC). Such a method (100) comprises a step (110) of producing said power command (PC) so as to decrease the difference (RSE) between a setpoint rotational speed (RSI) and a measured rotational speed (RSM) of the shaft of the internal combustion engine (12a-e) and thereby feedback controlling the speed of the shaft of the internal combustion engine (12a-e). The method further comprises a step (120) of producing an actuation command (AC) for actuating electrical means (19a-e) for correcting the thrust vector, said command being produced on the basis of said difference (RSE) separately from the step of feedback controlling the speed of the shaft of the internal combustion engine (12a-e).
