Provided herein is a method (440, 940) to reinforce a junction (334, 534, 634, 734, 834, 1034) of fiber-composite aircraft components forming an elongate conduit (328, 528, 628, 728, 828, 1028). The method comprises (a) abrading (942E) the junction and (b) applying (942H) sealant (558) along the junction from a tool (438, 538, 638) moveable through the conduit, the tool exerting force on an interior surface (546, 646, 746, 846) of the conduit opposite the junction.
