A position measurement device according to an embodiment is a position measurement device that measures a position of a vehicle, and includes a first positioning portion, a second positioning portion, and a determination portion. The first positioning portion receives a positioning signal from a satellite and measures a first position of the vehicle. The second positioning portion measures a second position of the vehicle based on an output of a sensor for autonomous positioning. The determination portion sets the second position as the position of the vehicle at least either when the first position is in a range based on a predetermined position or when change in a proceeding direction of the vehicle is a predetermined amount.
