A noise cancellation system (100) for cancelling sounds within a vehicle (60). The noise cancellation system (100) includes microphones (70a-70j), a camera (72), a controller (104), and speakers (68a-68f). The microphones (70a-70j) are disposed adjacent to occupant locations (66a-66b), and configured to generate microphone signals (MIC) representative of noise sounds (RNA-RNF) and cancellation audio sounds (CAA-CAF). The camera (72) is configured to generate a video signal (VIDEO) that captures head configurations (94a-96f) of the occupants (80a-80b). The controller (104) is configured to receive rotor control signals (RCNT), calculate hearing locations (90a-90d) based on tracking data (TRK) of the head configurations (94a-96f) of the occupants (80a-80b), and generate a speaker signals (SPK) based on the hearing locations (90a-90d), the microphone signals (MIC), and the rotor control signals (RCNT). The speakers (68a-68f) are configured to generate the cancellation audio sounds (CAA-CAF). The cancellation audio sounds (CAA-CAF) attenuate the noise sounds (RNA-RNF). (Fig. 1)
