A charging communication module (100) and a charging method of an electric vehicle (10) are provided. The charging communication module includes a voltage sensor (102) that senses a voltage level of a signal line (L1, L2, L3) to generate a sensing result, a controller (105) that generates first control information based on the sensing result and converts information of a first communication format provided from the signal line into information of a second communication format, and a switch device (103) that electrically connects or disconnects the signal line with or from the controller based on the first control information.
