The invention relates to a mobile crossdocking system, comprising a first transport vehicle with a first floor height, a second transport vehicle with a second floor height which is lower than the first floor height, and a mobile crossdock. The mobile crossdock has a third floor height which is approximately equal to or higher than the second floor height, but lower than the first floor height. The invention also relates to such a mobile crossdock, the use of a mega-trailer as a mobile crossdock, and to a method of transferring goods between first transport vehicles and second transport vehicles, wherein the method comprises placing a mobile crossdock.
