There is provided a vehicle identification method (400), the method comprising: obtaining (402), by a processor (220), advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) data from one or more sensors (210) natively installed on a first vehicle (200), the ADAS data comprising information representative of an environment surrounding the vehicle (200); extracting (404), by the processor, one or more features from the obtained ADAS data, the feature comprising identifying characteristics of at least a second vehicle proximate to the first vehicle (200); combining, by the processor (220), the obtained ADAS data with the extracted features to generate a unique data package for the at least a second vehicle; and storing (408) the unique data package in a database (224).
