Vehicle seat information detection systems, comprising a vehicle wireless signal transmitter(s) attached to a vehicle, seat receptacles attached to the vehicle, a vehicle seat system(s) (each comprising a seat, an antenna and a wireless transmitter) and a calculation element configured to conjecture as to which seat receptacle each seat system is engaged, based at least on conjecture as to a distance (or respective distances) between the vehicle wireless signal transmitter(s) and the seat system antenna(s). Methods of obtaining information regarding one or more vehicle seats, comprising transmitting from a first vehicle wireless signal transmitter (or transmitters) at least a first wireless signal. Calculation elements configured to conjecture as to a location of at least a seat system antenna, based on conjectured distance(s) between a vehicle wireless signal transmitter (or transmitters) and a seat system antenna (or antennas).
