A guide mechanism for a conveyance cart includes a permanent magnet, two electromagnetic units, and a holding member. The electromagnetic unit includes a core that includes a first iron core portion which is positioned below the guide rail, and attracts the guide rail from below, a second iron core portion which is positioned on one end side in a width direction of the conveyance cart, and attracts the guide rail from the one end side in the width direction of the conveyance cart, and a third iron core portion which is arranged with a predetermined interval from the second iron core portion in the width direction of the conveyance cart, and attracts the guide rail in a direction opposite to an attracting direction by the second iron core portion, and each coil portion which is wound around each iron core portion, and causes a change in a magnetic flux density acting between each iron core portion and the guide rail during power supply. The holding member is configured to hold the two electromagnetic units and the permanent magnet in a state in which the permanent magnet is held between the two electromagnetic units, and to be pivotally supported by a support member fixed to a link member of the conveyance cart with a longitudinal direction aligned with the width direction of the conveyance cart.
