The method includes: disposing arcuate sections (120) of fuselage (819) at a track (110) of a factory such that concavities (127) of the arcuate sections (120) of the fuselage (819) face a floor (150) of the factory, and bearing edges (122) of the arcuate sections (120) of fuselage (819) directly contact the track (110); advancing the arcuate sections (120) of fuselage (819) synchronously along the track (110) in a process direction (199); and performing work within concavities (127) of the arcuate sections (120) of fuselage (819) during pauses between pulses of the arcuate section (120) of fuselage (819) via stations that are disposed beneath the concavities (127) and that are directly mounted to the floor (150) of the factory
