The offshore semi-submersible platform (14) comprises:- at least three stabilizing columns (16, 18) ;- a truss structure (20) securing the at least three stabilizing columns (16, 18) to one another;- for at least one of the stabilizing columns (16, 18), a substantially horizontal perforated plate (40) and a fastening (42) arranged for fastening the substantially horizontal perforated plate (40) to the stabilizing column (16, 18) at least in a working position below a bottom surface (32) of the stabilizing column (16, 18),creating a wave load attenuation chamber(44) being defined between the substantially horizontal perforated plate (40) in said working position and the bottom surface (32) of the stabilizing column (16, 18).
