The invention relates to a device for processing (30) orbital data which is configured to be in communication with space listening sensors (24, 26, 28), the processing device (30) comprising a computing unit configured to determine the orbital parameters of the observed satellites (12, 14, 16, 18, 20) and to determine an orbital similarity coefficient per pair of observed satellites (12, 14) according to the degree of resemblance of the determined orbital parameters of the observed satellites (12, 14) for each pair.
