A securing mechanism suitable for attachment to an inflatable structure for securing a upright supporting stand , comprising: a first securing section, having a first support region for positioning adjacent to the top surface of the structure, a second support region for positioning adjacent to the bottom surface of the structure, a central support joining said first and second regions, a second securing section, connected to said first securing section and extending in an opposite direction, having a first support region, a central region and a second support region, wherein said second securing section is for positioning adjacent to a second inflatable structure; a central fixing area having top and bottom sides, connected on the bottom side proximate to a first region of at least one of said first and second securing sections, wherein part of said central fixing area can be affixed to a stand for supporting an upright.
