The disclosure provides a method for controlling a charging current of an electric vehicle (200) and a charging device (100). The controlling method includes: sampling (S1) current temperature (Tc) of the charging connection node; generating (S2) a current regulation amount (ΔI) according to the current temperature (Tc) and a preset target temperature threshold (Tref); and regulating (S3) the charging current flowing through the charging connection node according to the current regulation amount (ΔI).
