An innerliner and/or body ply skim rubber compound comprising at least:- a cross-linkable unsaturated chain polymer base,- a filler system, and- a vulcanization system;The filler system comprises, for at least 50% by weight, a mixture of at least three different types of carbon black comprising a first carbon black with a surface area of between 25 and 40 m2/g, a second carbon black with a surface area of between 70 and 90 m2/g and a third carbon black with a surface area of between 800 and 1200 m2/g.
