Connector assembly with a connector, the connector comprises a connector shell and an interlocking device with a limiting device, wherein the interlocking device is designed as a rotary locking mechanism with a connecting lug and a central part, the central part can rotate around a main axis betweena connection ready position, a connection position and a disconnection position, and the connecting lug is connected to the central part through a first end part and is provided with a free second end part; the central piece is provided with an opening, and the opening is used for accommodating the second end parts of the connecting lugs of the opposite connectors; the limiting device comprises apunch and a lock rod; the punch in the first position locks the locking lever in a stop position and in the second position releases the locking lever from the stop position. The automatic traction connector is characterised in that the stop position of the locking lever is positioned such that the locking lever is moved into the stop position before the central piece reaches the disengaged position of the central piece.
