A hydraulic actuator for a combined rear-front braking system of a motorcycle comprises an actuator body having an axially extending through cavity, at least one hydraulic chamber (23) within the actuator body, an inlet duct (30) in fluid communication with the hydraulic chamber (23), for letting a brake fluid into the hydraulic chamber (23), a delivery duct (33) in fluid communication with the hydraulic chamber (23), for sending brake fluid from the hydraulic chamber to a front hydraulic brake of the motorcycle, and a tubular piston. The tubular piston is mounted coaxially slidable in the through cavity of the actuator body and provides an axially extending through cavity (14) for the passage of a mechanical cable (C) for actuating a rear brake of the motorcycle.
