The moldability of a flange part in a terminal angle part of the flange part is improved. A panel joining structure (10) in which one side (14a) of a roof panel (14) of a vehicle body (12) and one side (16a) of a side panel (16) are continuously joined at a side-edge flange part extending in a vehicle longitudinal direction, wherein: the roof panel (14) and the side panel (16) have vertical wall parts (26, 52) that spread downward from side parts extending in a vehicle width direction in a panel main body; and in a terminal angle part (20) of the continuously joined side-edge flange part, a notch (46, 78) is provided to the vertical wall part (26, 52) of at least one of the roof panel (14) and the side panel (16).
