A vehicle (1) includes: an inlet (110) configured to allow a connector (310) of a charging cable (3) to be inserted into the inlet (110); a battery (150) configured to be charged from a charger (2) through the connector (310) and the inlet (110); a communication device (180) configured to perform communication with a server (5); and an ECU (100) configured to control charging. The ECU (100) diagnoses whether there is an abnormality in the charger (2), when where the charger (2) and the vehicle (1) are connected to each other through the charging cable (3), the abnormality being able to be diagnosed in a state where the connector (310) has been inserted into the inlet (110), and sends information indicating an abnormality occurrence, to the server (5) through the communication device (180), when where the ECU (100) diagnoses the charger (2) as having the abnormality.
