A magnetic coil structure (130) is disposed inside of the fusion plasma reactor chamber (110), and a structural component (120) is also disposed inside of the fusion plasma reactor chamber (110). The structural component (120) couples the magnetic coil structure (130) to the fusion plasma reactor chamber (110). A superconducting material (220) is disposed at least partially within the structural component (120). A plurality of cooling channels (230) are disposed at least partially within the structural component (120). An insulating material (250) is disposed at least partially within the structural component (120).
