A drivetrain apparatus for an electrically powered vehicle, comprising first 200 and second 300 electric motors with cooling fluid inlet 312 and outlet 313 on the exterior of the apparatus. A cooling fluid channel (314 fig.5) is provided between the inlet and outlet whereby the channel fluidly connects the motors internally which may cool the stators. Further internal inlets and outlets may allow additional cooling loops within the motors and a heat exchanger 701 and pump 706 may be connected in circuit. The mechanical outputs of the motors may be coupled together to drive a gearbox 400.
