Provided is an electric linear actuator that enables reduction of the mounting space and reduction of costs. An electric motor of this electric linear actuator is an axial gap motor including a stator (7) and a rotor which are disposed such that orientations of magnetic poles which generate interlinkage flux which contributes to torque generation are parallel to the rotation axis (LI) of the electric motor. Further, a linear motion mechanism and the electric motor are disposed in line along the same axis which serves as the axis of a rotation input and output shaft of the linear motion mechanism. First and second coil terminals (53), (54) have extended portions (53a), (54a) extended in the outer-diameter side in the radial direction with respect to the rotation axis (LI), and the extended portions (53a), (54a) are electrically connected to a control device through a wiring mechanism.
