A technique for variable arrangement in a passenger compartment of a passenger transport vehicle will be described. A device aspect of the art relates to a seat group (100) having at least two seats (102); and a substrate (104) supporting at least two seats (102). The substrate (104) comprises on the bottom side an anchoring point (106), which can be inserted into a groove-shaped guide device (204) in a released state, and which is releasably locked in a locked state in the groove guide. The seat group (100) is slidable and rotatable in the released state with respect to the groove-shaped guide device (204). In the locked state, the seat group (100) with respect to the groove-shaped guide device (204) is stationary and rotationally fixed.
