The invention relates to a ventilator (1) for installation on a vehicle by means of which an air flow which is generated by movement of the vehicle is introduced into a space to be ventilated via an air inlet (3), a first air chamber (7) and a supply opening (17). Furthermore, the air can leave the space to be ventilated again via a discharge opening (18), a second air chamber (8) and an air outlet (4). The ventilator (1) is provided with at least one air passage (24) connected to the second air chamber (8) for guiding an air flow from an outer side of the ventilator (1) into the second air chamber (8) via an inlet opening (23). In addition, the invention relates to a vehicle provided with such a ventilator (1).
