The hoist machine includes the main shaft 10 having its one axial end attached to the casing 7 via a bearing 11, and the other end to which another bearing 12 is attached. The bearing 12 attached to the other end of the main shaft is disposed inside the housing 13. The housing 13 is located closer to the casing than the support base 14, and fixed thereto with a bolt 15. The friction force is generated between the housing 13 and the support base 14 under the axial force caused by fastening the bolt 15 to fix the housing 13 and the support base 14 so as to bear the suspension load.
