The invention provides a method for transport and delivery in an urban environment, which includes routing by ship. For each unloading site, the method includes: selecting and individually routing, by roller conveyors / conveyor belts, to an exit area (19) of a ship, one or more modules (M1, M2) inside the ship, each intended for a single receiving site; unloading said modules onto an unloading dock (SD11), via an unloading conveyor (MC1, MC2) secured to said ship, which receives each module (M, MF, MP) and deposits same on the dock, via an exit (22) having an adjustable height (H2), with an independently movable individual trolley (CH, CH1, CH2); local handling by the independent movement of said modules (M, M1, M2, MF, MP), coupling in a train of modules behind an electric urban conveyor; routing said modules (M1, M2) to said receiving sites, by road to a plurality of consecutive receiving sites (SR1, SR2); and depositing (E17, E19) at least one module (M1, M2) in each of said receiving sites.
