The invention relates to an actuating mechanism (1) for adjusting at least one module (11) of a spacecraft, comprising a connecting plate (2) for connection to the module (11) and a cardanic suspension having two axes of rotation (3,4) for displacement of the connecting plate (2), wherein an adjustment drive (5,6) for rotation about the respective axis of rotation (3,4) is assigned to each axis of rotation. It is provided that the centers of gravity of the masses, which are respectively rotatable about the axes of rotation (3,4), lie substantially on the respective axis of rotation (3,4).
