The invention relates to an energy storing and delivering device (9) for a car. The device (9) comprises an elastic energy storing and delivering system (12), a magnetic-electric energy storing and delivering system (13), an inertial energy storing and delivering system (14) and coupling means (15). The coupling means (15) are adapted for coupling a driving shaft (8) of the car with at least one of the elastic system (12), the magnetic-electric system (13) and the inertial system (14) depending on a speed of the car in such a way that kinetic energy of the car can be stored by the respective coupled system (12, 13 and/or 14) and that kinetic energy of the respective coupled system (12, 13 and/or 14) can be delivered to the driving shaft (8) of the car.
