The invention relates to a pressure sensor (1) for a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) comprising a housing (5a, 5b) formed by at least two housing parts. A printed circuit board (6) has electronic components arranged thereon, wherein the electronic components form at least one circuit for detecting a gas pressure and a wireless transmission of measurement data to a remote receiving device. A battery serves to supply the electronic components. The battery (7) and the printed circuit board (6) are arranged in a stack and accommodated in the housing (5a, 5b). An elastic compensation element (8) made of an electrically insulating material is placed between the battery (7) and the printed circuit board (6), said elastic compensation element respectively abutting the battery (7) and the printed circuit board (6) on one side. The battery is supported on the housing (5a, 5b) on a side facing away from the compensation element.
