A trolley handling device for guiding a trolley (103) into and out of a trolley stowage, comprising a trolley holder (102) adapted to interact with the trolley (103) and secure the trolley (103) against displacement relative to the trolley holder (102) in at least a first direction (Y), and a guiding device (104) comprising a first guiding element (106) attached to the trolley holder (102) and a second guiding element (108) adapted to be provided on a structural part arranged in the vicinity of the trolley stowage, wherein the first and second guiding elements are configured to engage with each other and designed so as to guide the trolley (103) between a first position, in which the trolley (103) is essentially arranged inside of the trolley stowage, and a second position, in which the trolley (103) is at least partially arranged outside the trolley stowage, wherein the trolley (103), in its second position, is arranged offset relative to its first position in the first direction (Y) and in a second direction (X) perpendicular to the first direction (Y).
