System for inductively transmitting electrical power, wherein a vehicle has metal parts and a secondary coil which has a secondary winding and ferrite material which is provided as the coil core, wherein a primary winding is arranged in a stationary manner, and a capacitor is connected, in particular in series or in parallel, to said primary winding for forming a resonant circuit, wherein an evaluation unit for determining the resonant frequency of the resonant circuit is electrically connected to the primary winding, wherein a means is provided for comparing the determined resonant frequency with a first frequency value f1 and/or with a second frequency value f2, in particular the at least one output of said means driving an actuator, such as a relay or the like.
