Provided is a boom attitude detection device capable of determining the attitude of a boom even if a GPS device is in poor radio reception conditions. The boom attitude detection device is equipped with: a GPS device (20) that measures the position of the leading end of the boom (13); attitude detectors (31) and (32) that detect the attitude of the boom (13); and a calculation device (40). If the positioning reliability of the GPS device (20) is high, the calculation device (40) determines a correction value for correcting detection values of the attitude detectors (31) and (32) to the attitude of the boom (13) determined from the positioning value of the GPS device (20). If the positioning reliability of the GPS device (20) is low, the calculation device (40) corrects the detection values of the attitude detectors (31) and (32) using correction values and determines the attitude of the boom (13). Even if the GPS device (20) is in poor radio reception conditions and the positioning reliability is low, the attitude of the boom (13) can be determined.
