The disclosure relates to a rubber composition based on at least one styrene/butadiene copolymer SBR, the SBR having a content of greater than or equal to 50 parts per hundred parts of elastomer, phr, a reinforcing filler comprising predominantly carbon black with a CTAB specific surface area of greater than or equal to 90 m2/g, wherein the composition comprises an aromatic dicyclopentadiene plasticizing resin comprising essentially styrene, ethylene and dicyclopentadiene units, at a content ranging from 2 to 40 phr, the composition containing less than 5 phr of another plasticizer.
