The invention relates to a slip reset controller for vehicle braking systems, which controller provides a signal (u) that is transmitted via the communication network to a local actuator, which provides a signal (u) on the basis of a signal generated by a supervisory module and a signal generated by a slip estimation module, and wherein a slip estimation module generates a signal based on a signal provided by a sensory information module and a signal generated by a speed estimation module, on the basis of sensory measurements provided by a sensory information module. The invention also relates to a method for designing a slip reset controller for vehicle braking systems.
