The present invention relates to an air-guiding element made of a flexible material for an air vent, and to an air vent (10), wherein the air-guiding element (12; 14) has a first end segment (22) supported in a housing and at least one second end segment (24) opposite the first end segment (22) is supported in such a way that, by means of the action of at least one force component on a region (26; 34) of the air-guiding element (12; 14) between the first end segment (22) and the second end segment (24), the air-guiding element (12; 14) is deformed at least in said region (22; 24) and the air-guiding element independently returns to the initial position after the end of the action of the force component.
