The invention relates to an electrohydraulic steering system, more particularly for mobile work machines, more particularly wheel loaders, having at least one controller comprising at least one hydraulic branch with at least one hydraulic primary circuit and at least one hydraulic secondary circuit, wherein the hydraulic primary circuit comprises at least one main valve for hydraulic actuation of the steering system, and wherein the hydraulic secondary circuit comprises at least one emergency valve for hydraulic actuation of the steering system in emergency mode, the emergency valve being smaller than the main valve.
