The invention relates to a device (D) for estimating a first temperature in an enclosure (H) supplied with air treated by a heating/air-conditioning apparatus (IC) including a supply valve (V1) controlling the supply of said enclosure with outside air and/or recirculated air from a first zone (Z1) of the enclosure (H), an evaporator (EV) cooling the air supply such as to produce cooled air intended for the air outlets of the enclosure (H), and intake means (V3-V5) controlling access to the air outlets. Said device (D) includes control means (MCT) for controlling the placement of the supply valve (V1) and of the intake valves (V3-V5) in positions in which said valves respectively supply the apparatus (IC) with recirculated air and of the air outlets (S1) separated from the first zone (Z1), and for subsequently estimating the first temperature from a second air temperature measured between the supply valve (V1) and the evaporator (EV), following the placements.
