The invention relates to a rail vehicle, in particular for high-speed traffic, comprising a carriage body (102) which has an interior and defines a vehicle longitudinal direction, a vehicle transverse direction and a vehicle height direction, and comprising a current collector apparatus (104) for installation in a depression (102.2) in a roof region of the carriage body (102). The carriage body has in the region of the depression (102.2) a side wall structure (102.4) running in a pronounced manner in the vehicle height direction and a roof structure (102.3) running at an angle to the side wall structure (102.4) and substantially in the vehicle transverse direction. The current collector apparatus (104) is supported on the carriage body (102) by means of a carrier apparatus (107.1), which projects beyond the current collector apparatus (104) in the vehicle transverse direction. The carrier apparatus (107.1) is supported on the carriage body (102) by means of a support apparatus, which substantially continues the profile of the side wall structure (102.4) and projects beyond the roof structure (102.3) in the vehicle height direction, to reduce the introduction of vibrations, caused by the current collector apparatus (104), into the roof structure (102.3).
