A remotely controllable airplane (10) adapted for belly-landing, the airplane (10) comprising a fuselage (12), a wing (14), a tail (16), a motor with a propeller (18), and an under-fuselage payload container (20) adapted for carrying a surveillance equipment, wherein the payload container (20) comprises a front module (22), an aft module (24), both coupled to the fuselage (12) and spaced apart along the fuselage axis, and a central module (26), wherein the central module (26) is rotatably attached to the front module (22) and to the aft module (24).
