A system (470) for extraction of a pool cleaning robot from a pool, the system comprising: a propulsion module (396); wherein the system is characterized by comprising: an interfacing device (200) that is interfaced by the pool cleaning robot once the pool cleaning robot exits the pool; and a winding and unwinding mechanism (471) that is connected to the interfacing device and is configured to rotate a shaft in different directions thereby winding or unwinding the interfacing device (200).
