The method involves determining a deviation between a current state vector of a satellite and a predetermined path (104), and determining Lagrange multipliers (105) from the current state vector of the satellite, the determined deviation and parameters of a predefined control law. Parameters of a current control law of an electrical motor are determined (106) by the multipliers and by derivation of a parameter representative of a motor effect on a real path. The motor parameters are controlled (107) from the current control law. An independent claim is also included for a satellite.
