The handling of a planetary gear is easy, a space in which a bearing having a size necessary to support the planetary gear is disposed can be reliably secured, and making the entire planetary reduction gear compact can be further facilitated. The planetary reduction gear includes first and second carrier members (28, 30) that synchronize with rotating components of first and second planetary gears (16, 18) and are disposed on the side portions of the first and second planetary gears (16, 18) in an axial direction. The first and second planetary gears (16, 18) are supported on an eccentric body shaft (24) through first and second roller bearings (40, 42) and includes main bodies (90, 92) that include teeth (86, 88) and protrusions (94, 96) that protrude from only one side of inner peripheral edges of bearing holes (100, 102), in which the first and second roller bearings (40, 42) are disposed, in the axial direction. The protrusions (94, 96) and the first and second carrier members (28, 30) overlap each other by 1 and 2 when seen from the diametral direction of the first and second planetary gears (16, 18).
