An aircraft wing (25) includes a rib (30) attached by a joint (39) to a tubular spar (28) that varies in cross sectional shape during flight. The joint (39) includes a ring (42) attached to the tubular spar (28), and pivot pins (40) connecting the ring (42) with the rib (30). The pivot pins (40) allow relative movement between the rib (30) and the tubular spar (28) as the tubular spar (28) varies in cross sectional shape. (Fig. 4)
