According to the invention there is provided a liquid friction control composition with enhanced retentivity comprising a rheological agent and an anti-oxidant. The liquid friction control composition may also comprise other components such as a retentivity agent, a friction modifier, a lubricant, a wetting agent, a consistency modifier, and a preservative.
