The invention relates to a device for the energy management of technical objects, the object-specific functionality of which technical objects is implemented using an electromotive drive, wherein the drive has an electric motor and an electrical rechargeable battery and wherein the rechargeable battery is configured to provide the electrical energy for operating the electric motor, the object-specific functionality of the technical object being implemented by operation of said electric motor. The problem addressed by this invention is that of creating a technical solution in this respect, with which the usage time of a technical object after the rechargeable battery has been charged once can be substantially increased as compared with the prior art. This problem is solved by way of the device having an additional secondary rechargeable battery, the charging of which during normal operation of the respective technical object provides an additional energy source which can recharge the primary rechargeable battery required for the actual object-specific functionality. The invention proposes specific device-related and method-related features for this purpose.
