Das BLE-Gerät (1) weist eine BLE-Schnittstelle (3) und das Fahrzeug (1) ein System (4) von BLE-Schnittstellen (5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11) auf mit einer BLE-Zentralschnittstelle (5) und wenigstens einer ersten BLE-Satelliten-Schnittstelle (6), bevorzugt weiteren BLE-Satelliten-Schnittstellen (7, 9, 10, 11).Die BLE-Satelliten-Schnittstellen (6, 7, 9, 10, 11) weisen ein Sniffer-Modul (6a, 7a, 9a, 10a, 11a) auf.Das Verfahren umfasst, dass die BLE-Satelliten-Schnittstellen (6, 7, 9, 10, 11) eine Kommunikation zwischen der BLE-Zentralschnittstelle (5) und der BLE-Schnittstelle (3) des mobilen BLE-Geräts (1) im Connection Mode mithören. Beim Mithören erfasste Signalstärken werden zur Positionsbestimmung des BLE-Geräts (1) genutzt.
