The invention generally relates to a sealing assembly and a vacuum chuck clamp for clamping a surface of an object. The vacuum chuck clamp comprises a rigid base element and an annular vacuum sealing element. The rigid element is provided with a first side face and a second side face opposite to the first side face, and the second side face is provided with a central area and a periphery surrounding the central area. The annular vacuum sealing element is at least indirectly attached to the second side of the base element and protrudes from the base element in a direction away from the first side of the base element. The vacuum sealing element includes a contact surface configured to at least partially contact the object surface, and a surrounding surface laterally toward the contact surface configured to define a chamber adjacent to the second side of the base element. The vacuum sealing element is elastically deformable at least at the contact surface to enable the contact surface to conform to the object surface when pressed against the object surface. The vacuum chuck fixture further includes an air extractor mounted to the first side of the base element so as to be in fluid communication with the chamber through the base element and configured to continuously extract air from the chamber such that the contact surface when pressed faces the object surface so as to clamp the object surface.
