According to the invention, an electro-hydraulic booster vehicle brake system for a motor vehicle traveling autonomously on a public road is provided with two redundant booster brake pressure generators (3, 4), such that the booster brake pressure generators (3, 4) are activated during automatic travel and when one of the booster brake pressure generators (3, 4) fails. The other booster brake pressure generator (4, 3) can brake the motor vehicle without driver intervention.

    本发明建议,用于自主在公共道路上行驶的机动车的电液压的助力式车辆制动设备配设有两个冗余的助力式制动压力发生器(3、4),因而在自动行驶时和其中一个助力式制动压力发生器(3、4)失效时,另一个助力式制动压力发生器(4、3)可以在没有驾驶员干预的情况下制动机动车。
