According to the glass assembly disclosed by the invention, each light cut-off area in the plurality of light cut-off areas can be independently controlled, and images can be displayed in different areas in combination with the projection device. When the image display device is applied to an occasion for displaying an image to the interior of a vehicle, an image display effect for enhancing contrast can be provided through the dark-state light cut-off area, a privacy effect of image content is provided, the influence on personnel outside the vehicle is reduced, and for example, the light cut-off area in the non-dark state can meet the requirement of a driver or a passenger for the view field.
